An Bình Group Meets and Works with the Embassy of Uruguay
At the invitation of the Embassy of Uruguay, earlier this April, representatives of An Bình Group attended a meeting between import–export enterprises and the Commercial Counsellor of Uruguay in Hanoi. The purpose of the meeting was to explore the market, strengthen connections with importers and distributors, and work towards the goal of bringing Uruguayan meat into the Vietnamese market.
During the meeting, Mr. Raul Pollak Giamfuetro emphasized his strong interest in the Vietnamese market. According to him, Vietnam is a promising market with high meat consumption demand, particularly for beef.
He expressed his wish to soon complete the necessary procedures so that Uruguayan meat could officially enter Vietnam. In recent years, Uruguay has focused on diversifying its export markets, especially for meat products. One of the key objectives set is to gain access to the Vietnamese market. Uruguay is making great efforts to introduce its beef products into Vietnam and looks forward to achieving this goal in the near future.
At the meeting, representatives of An Bình Group affirmed that, as Vietnam is a country with a large population, Uruguayan enterprises have great potential to develop their frozen food exports here. Currently, the Vietnamese market is already supplied by various sources of beef from the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, and others. This creates significant barriers for new products seeking to enter the market and establish a competitive position.
Not only limited to importing Uruguayan meat, the meeting also opened up opportunities for two-way trade cooperation. Representatives of An Bình Group expressed interest in Uruguayan meat, while also pointing out several challenges such as competition from other major meat-exporting countries and legal barriers.
